Traveling Construction Robotics Lead
Rinvio is hiring a Traveling Construction Robotics Lead for a contract role supporting advanced autonomous equipment deployments on construction and infrastructure projects across the United States. This role is ideal for someone with a strong construction, heavy equipment, field service, or machinery background who can lead work in the field, troubleshoot equipment, coordinate with site teams, and represent Rinvio professionally on active jobsites.
Pay: Around $120,000/year, based on experience
Location: Dallas, TX area preferred; candidates should live within approximately 30 miles of a major airport
Travel: Heavy weekly travel to project sites across the U.S.

Responsibilities:
- Lead field deployment of advanced robotic/autonomous equipment on construction jobsites
- Coordinate with site contacts, operators, field teams, and technical support teams to keep deployments safe and productive
- Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain heavy equipment, sensors, electronics, and related field hardware
- Support installation and adjustment of sensors, components, and field equipment
- Identify equipment issues, reproduce bugs or failures, document findings, and communicate clearly with technical teams
- Help develop best practices for field operations, jobsite readiness, preventative maintenance, and safe deployment procedures
- Perform scheduled field operations, including overnight work when required by project needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional field presence and represent Rinvio well with project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Construction, heavy equipment, machinery, field service, or robotics/autonomous equipment experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience repairing, maintaining, operating, or supporting heavy equipment or complex machinery preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with field troubleshooting, tools, sensors, electronics, and equipment diagnostics
- Ability to communicate professionally with operators, construction teams, customers, and technical support teams
- Willingness to travel weekly and work in changing jobsite conditions
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Detail-oriented, safety-minded, adaptable, and able to solve problems without constant supervision
- Welding, fabrication, soldering, hydraulics, electrical, GPS/machine control, or construction technology experience is a plus
