Process Control Engineer

Rinvio is hiring a Process Control Engineer for industrial automation, controls, and process improvement work in the Wickliffe, Kentucky area.

Pay: Pay negotiable based on experience

Location: Wickliffe, KY

Schedule: Full-time project/plant support work; schedule may vary by project and site needs

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize DCS and PLC systems including Delta
V, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens platforms
- Tune PID control loops and improve process stability, reliability, and throughput
- Integrate field devices using HART, Modbus, Ether
Net/IP, Profibus, and related industrial communication protocols
- Lead or support automation upgrades, migrations, commissioning, and system expansion projects
- Analyze process data and implement continuous improvement strategies for plant performance
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project teams to resolve control-system issues

Requirements:
- Process controls, automation, or controls engineering experience in an industrial environment
- Hands-on experience with DCS and/or PLC systems such as Delta
V, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, or Siemens
- Strong understanding of PID loop tuning, process stability, control strategy, and plant troubleshooting
- Experience with field device integration and industrial protocols such as HART, Modbus, Ether
Net/IP, or Profibus
- Ability to support automation upgrades, migrations, commissioning, and system expansions
- Comfort analyzing process data and recommending practical continuous improvement actions
- Reliable transportation to the Wickliffe, KY area
- Must be professional, safety-minded, and able to complete any site onboarding requirements
