Business Development Recruiter
Location: Remote / Flexible
Compensation: High commission, no cap (40% 70% depending on client ownership)
About the Opportunity
We are a growing staffing firm focused on utilities, telecom, engineering, and technical roles. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Recruiter who can run a full desk developing clients, recruiting candidates, and closing placements.
This role is ideal for someone who wants autonomy, high earning potential, and clear ownership without the overhead of running their own agency.
What You’ll Do
Develop new client relationships and manage your own accounts
Recruit, screen, and place candidates across technical and professional roles
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle (intake offer placement)
Work independently while leveraging our brand, contracts, and infrastructure
Collaborate on shared accounts and company-provided job orders when available
Commission Structure (Transparent & Fair)
70% commission on placements from your own clients / book of business
40% commission on placements from company-provided clients or leads
No cap on earnings
Client ownership clearly defined
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of staffing agency experience (full desk or BD + recruiting)
Proven ability to generate business and fill roles
Experience in utilities, telecom, engineering, or industrial staffing is a strong plus
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
Entrepreneurial mindset without wanting to handle back-office admin
