California Licensed Laboratory Director

A company is looking for an Associate Laboratory Director.



Key Responsibilities:

Review and sign out negative and straightforward positive clinical test reports
Provide high-quality test results within published turnaround times
Provide guidance for reporting and technical troubleshooting


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in a field relating to genetics
Board certification (or board-eligible) from the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) or equivalent
Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS) license from the California Department of Public Health
Minimum of 2 years prior experience interpreting genetic test results in a CLIA laboratory
Successful completion of ABMGG fellowship program specialized in the service of the laboratory
