Wholesale Underwriter

A company is looking for an Underwriter, Wholesale, Specialty Products.



Key Responsibilities

Underwrite loans according to company and investor guidelines, ensuring compliance with legal and policy requirements
Perform thorough analysis of collateral, credit information, and loan file consistency, identifying risk factors and resolving issues
Communicate with clients and teams to manage outstanding underwriting conditions and requirements


Required Qualifications

5+ years of mortgage underwriting experience
Experience underwriting Non-Agency or Non-QM loans
Familiarity with paperless loan origination systems preferred
Experience with Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP) required
Experience in a paperless environment preferred
