Become an Interventional/Neuro Radiology Technologist at Avera McKennan. Perform a variety of complex specialized tasks eminent in operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.

Position Highlights:

    We offer a wide variety of neuro interventions, from diagnostic cerebral angiograms to advanced endovascular interventions. - Aneurysm embolization, stroke thrombectomy, and carotid stenting to name a few.
    The interdisciplinary team consists of an Endovascular Surgery trained Vascular Neurologist, an Advanced Practice Provider, 18 -Registered Nurses and 14 -Registered Radiology/Cardiology Technologists. -

    Job Summary

    The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing specialized procedures using sterile techniques and specialized equipment.

    -Education and/or Experience


    Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or hospital-based Radiologic Technology Program is required.


    Certification/Licensure/Registrations


  • ARRT (R) registered or RCIS is required within 60 days of completing an accredited program.
    Signature of NRC Confirmatory Order Communication is required.


    -Work Schedule


    Varied Shifts: 7:00am-5:00pm, with weekend/holiday/call involvement; 72 hours every 2 weeks


    Every 3rd weekend on call
    On-call pay




    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience. -


    $31.75 - $48.00 per hour
