Illinois Medical Referral Analyst

A company is looking for a Medical Referral Analyst to manage and coordinate the referral process for ancillary medical services.



Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the referral process for ancillary medical services
Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and the internal referral team
Document, communicate, and maintain meticulous records to facilitate patient care


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; BS or Associate's degree in healthcare administration preferred
Previous experience (1+ years) in healthcare administration, medical billing, coding, or referral management preferred
Familiarity with insurance policies, authorization processes, and medical terminology is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Commitment to continuous learning and skill development through ongoing training (minimum of 2 hours per month)
