AR Specialist - Complex Denials

A company is looking for an AR Specialist 2 - Complex Denials to manage healthcare insurance receivables.



Key Responsibilities

Verify eligibility and authorization with insurance carriers
Research and monitor unpaid or denied claims for resolution
Contact payers for payment, reconsideration, and appeal submissions


Required Qualifications

3-5 years of medical collections, denials, and appeals experience
Advanced knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and NCCI
Advanced knowledge of third-party billing guidelines and claim forms (UB04/1500)
Advanced knowledge of payor contracts, both commercial and government
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
