Claims Posting Specialist

A company is looking for a Claims Posting Specialist to manage payment postings and adjustments for medical claims.



Key Responsibilities

Review medical claims to ensure accurate payment postings and balanced accounts
Upload Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and ensure they match the hospital's health information system
Maintain accurate documentation and notate accounts as per facility requirements


Required Qualifications

Experience with Health Information Systems such as Epic, Meditech, or Cerner
Knowledge of medical terminology, billing standards, and claims processing
Ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm and ten key 8000+ kph
Customer service experience
Familiarity with productivity and accuracy standards in a healthcare setting
