Remote Denials Management Specialist

A company is looking for a Remote Denials Management Specialist responsible for denial and accounts receivable management.



Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve outstanding denials and manage follow-up in a timely manner
Identify denial trends and provide education to prevent future denials
Initiate and manage insurance appeals and outstanding accounts receivable related to denials


Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalency
4 years of experience in medical billing with exposure to denials and appeals
Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT-4 coding
Familiarity with insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) and claims processing requirements
Solid skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
