COBOL Mainframe Developer

A company is looking for a COBOL Mainframe Application Developer to support development on existing payment software systems.



Key Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy code on a mainframe platform based on user specifications
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development processes
Provide production support, including break-fix support and enhancements to applications


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
At least 10 years of COBOL programming experience in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment
Expertise in Job Control Language (JCL)
Knowledge of mainframe technologies, including DB2/SQL, IMS, and CICS
Experience in the development lifecycle from Development to Production
