Hiring: Compliance Specialist (GovCon; Export Controls)
Location: Stafford, VA
Salary: $80,000 $90,000/yr
Schedule: Full-time

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support regulatory compliance initiatives within a government contracting and defense environment. This role plays a critical part in managing export controls, contract compliance, and audit support across federal programs.

Key Responsibilities

Support ITAR/EAR export compliance and licensing activities
Manage ATF import compliance documentation and registrations
Support FAR/DFARS compliance across government contracts
Assist with internal reviews, audits, and corrective actions
Partner with Legal, HR, IT, Security, and Finance teams
Support compliance reporting, documentation, and training initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Compliance, or related field
3+ years of experience in Government Contracting or Aerospace & Defense
Hands-on experience with ITAR/EAR and ATF import controls
Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
Strong documentation and regulatory interpretation skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance preferred
