This is a 1-year Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency position located in Sioux Falls, SD at the Avera Human Performance Center. -

We are seeking current clinicians or new-graduates looking to accelerate expertise in manual therapy, orthopedics, and clinical reasoning. -

Avera Health and Evidence in Motion have partnered to provide this residency experience which is accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE). -

Clinical mentors in the program are Orthopedic Clinical Specialists (OCS) and/or -Fellows of the American Academy of Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). -

Job Summary

Responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of physical therapy services implementing specific treatment program for individual patients and patient groups according to the principles and practices of physical therapy and established objectives of the department.

Participates under the supervision of the Residency Program Coordinator and the assigned Residency Program Mentor(s).

Rotates through the established program of education as assigned by the department/Residency Program Coordinator. - -


Education and/or Experience

Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program of the American Physical Therapy Association preferred. - -


Certification/Licensure

Licensed by the State of South Dakota as a Physical Therapist required.

This position requires a valid driver's license

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm; 80 hours 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$33.50 per hour
