    Job Summary


  • The Occupational Therapist is accountable for evaluating, planning, and executing all aspects of Occupational Therapy, infant through geriatric, with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to develop and restore maximal functional level. -
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. -
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department. -
    In Swingbed, the primary caseload is 18 and older, pediatrics caseload is birth to 21, with occasional coverage for patients in other age ranges. - -


    Education and/or Experience


    Master's Degree is required.
    Doctorate Degree is preferred.
    0-6 months experience is required.
    1-2 years' experience is preferred.
    Valid Driver's License is required. -


    CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS -


  • Must be currently licensed to practice Occupational Therapy by the South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners. - -
    BLS (Basic Life Support) is required.
    ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) is preferred.


    Work Schedule


    8:00 am - 5:00 pm as needed; PRN


    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.


    $30.25 -- $45.75 per hour
