    Job Summary


    The Physical Therapist is accountable for organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy programs in the hospital, outpatient services and outreach sites to restore function and prevent disability.
    Helping patients reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities.
    Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
    Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives -


    Education and/or Experience


    Bachelor's degree required
    Master's degree preferred


    License/Certification/Registration


    Current licensure as a Physical Therapist - in the State of South Dakota
    BLS certification within 30 days of hire


    Work Schedule


    Day/Evening Shifts, 8:00am-5:00pm; 72 hours every 2 weeks


    Occasional weekends and holidays




    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.


    $35.00 - $53.00
