Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Infant Toddler Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language, and motor skills.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support each child's growth.
Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities as required.
Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is essential.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.
First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Previous experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
