SENIOR VETERINARIAN

We are currently looking for a Senior Veterinarian to oversee a state-of-the-art facility located in the Boston area. This position will be working with a few Veterinarians at the facility along with several other staff members. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow into the position of Director of Operations and manage all their facilities. The facility will eventually open 7 days a week so being able to grow a great team of Veterinarians would be ideal. Duties will include all aspects of animal care in a Vet hospital. This is a full-time position with bonus incentives such as profit sharing, options, etc.NO VISA SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE. Competitive salary and robust recruitment package offered.

Responsibilities:

Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
Working with a Regional Operations Manager and the Hospital Manager to achieve high standards and provide superior patient care
Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet
Perform dentals

REQUIREMENTS:

Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
5+ years of veterinarian experience working for a vet hospital.
Eligible to obtain Connecticut State Veterinary License
