Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician

Responsibilities:

Inspect, troubleshoot & repair construction and crushing/screening equipment
Work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems
Use advanced diagnostic tools, laptops, gauges & instruments
Disassemble/assemble machines to exact manufacturer specs
Interpret manuals, service orders & tech documentation
Complete accurate service reports, PM checklists & timecards
Represent American State with professionalism and strong communication
Travel 50%+ to support customers in the field

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED (technical school a plus)
3 5 years of hands-on heavy equipment repair experience
Strong mechanical aptitude & working knowledge of tools
Basic welding skills
Ability to stay organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication & customer service mindset
Class B CDL a strong plus
