HVAC Technician - Commercial Buildings
Philadelphia Property Management Co- Commercial Portfolio (1.5M+ square feet) is seeking a highly skilled and energetic Advanced HVAC Service Technician specializing in commercial buildings to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, across a variety of commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety standards are met while delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced technicians eager to apply their mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced, field service environment.
Service, troubleshoot, and repair:
RTUs (Rooftop Units)
Split Systems
Water Source Heat Pumps
Gas Furnaces
Gas Boilers (Steam & Hydronic)
Commercial Water Heaters
Booster Pumps
Diagnose and repair:
Single & 3-phase motors
Compressors
Heat kits and electrical components
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
Order materials and manage repair needs independently
Respond to on-call service needs as scheduled
On-call rotation: 1 week every 8 weeks
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of HVAC service technician experience
Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC and electrical systems
Proficient with electrical meters and diagnostics
Skilled in brazing and soldering
Valid driver’s license (in good standing)
Reliable transportation
Must pass a background check
Own basic hand tools
Must live within 45 minutes of Philadelphia
