About the Role

This role supports product and process development from R&D through full-scale production, focusing on dairy manufacturing. You’ll lead scale-ups, drive continuous improvement, and act as the key link between R&D and plant operations to ensure successful product commercialization.

Job Responsibilities

Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, and cost efficiency
Support product development by evaluating production feasibility and identifying risks
Manage product scale-ups, line trials, and process changes across manufacturing
Translate R&D formulations into production-ready processes and documentation
Coordinate and execute benchtop, pilot, and plant trials
Maintain technical documentation including specifications, formulations, and SAP records
Support equipment validation, commissioning, and process optimization
Identify cost savings, material improvements, and process efficiencies
Collaborate with Quality on product testing, release, and compliance
Communicate technical findings, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
3 6 years of dairy manufacturing or related food production experience
Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and dairy processing
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with plant operations and manufacturing processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (SAP preferred)
Experience with lab and pilot-scale equipment
Strong problem-solving, organization, and project management skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams
English fluency required
