VP, Quality Assurance (781094)
Analyze project specifications, create and execute test scenarios, document results, manage priorities, and maintain continuous communication with project stakeholders. Analyze internal log files for detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Leverage VeriFix for testing FIX protocol and creating and maintaining automated test cases. Create and execute database scripts for analyzing test results and establishing test scenarios. Execute and document functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases. Report and track issues found during the QA lifecycle. Validate fixes and enhancements, ensuring no regression issues are introduced. Work with the production support team in reproducing and isolating production issues. Work with development team in prioritizing, resolving and implementing fixes. Help development team in preparing system automation tests.
This position is fixed location based in Jersey City office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in testing fixed income electronic trading systems.
Must have five (5) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- FIX protocol and messaging API
- Test Life Cycle and SDLC
- Quality Assurance Methodologies
- Create and execute database scripts for analyzing test results and establishing test scenarios
- Application integration, functional, regression, and performance testing
- Documenting test progress and incident tracking
- Tracking issues found during SIT and throughout QA lifecycle
- Setting up test environment and configuring files to perform integration testing
- Building test repository and document all test cases
- Testing Fixed Income Markets various trading protocols, STP, and electronic trading systems.
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm
