Voice Up Publishing, Inc. is a purpose-driven public health startup and grassroots movement founded in November 2024. Voice Up operates as a first-of-a-kind action think tank grounded in IRB-approved doctoral research.
In just 16 months of operation, our impact includes:
A global ecosystem of universities, nonprofits, and public health leaders

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
This internship is designed for individuals who want hands-on experience in community outreach, digital engagement, and purpose-driven leadership.
Interns will contribute to a real-world initiative that connects with local communities through both in-person conversations and digital outreach strategies, supported by short-form video and media tools.
This internship provides experience in:
Community engagement and relationship-building
Digital outreach and communication
Purpose-driven leadership development
Research-informed outreach strategies
Social impact and grassroots organizing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FOCUS AREA 1 Community Engagement
Connect with community members through simple, respectful conversations
Participate in small outreach teams (5 7 people)
Listen to community perspectives and build trust

FOCUS AREA 2 Digital Outreach
Share messages through social media, text, and direct communication
Send follow-up messages to maintain connection
Help expand outreach through personal networks

FOCUS AREA 3 Media Engagement
Use short-form video and digital content to support outreach
Share media in a way that feels personal and authentic
Help reinforce messaging through consistent digital touchpoints

FOCUS AREA 4 Team-Based Implementation
Collaborate in small teams to reach shared outreach goals
Track outreach activities (conversations, follow-ups)
Participate in weekly check-ins and reflections
