Under the supervision of the administrator or supervisor, help disabled, ill, or injured patients with special equipment and the therapeutic use of daily activities; Help patients improve, regain, and develop the skills needed for day to day life and work; Evaluate patients’ conditions by reviewing their medical history, interviewing them, and observing them perform various tasks; Develop and implement treatment plans that have specific activities to help patients work towards their goals; Demonstrate exercises to help relieve patients’ pain; Advise on adaptive equipment to help patients with daily activities; Evaluate results and progress of occupational therapy on patients; Educate caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
NY OT License; or
Passed NBCOT OTR; or
HCWC (VCVC or Visa Screen)
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
