Policy Enforcement Manager, Violent Extremism, YouTube
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in trust and safety, policy, cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, crisis response, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- Experience in content policy, anti-abuse and reviewing online content.
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python).
- Experience in operations such as scaled or sales operations, vendor management or process, or organizational optimization.
- Experience with machine learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.

As a Policy Enforcement Manager focused on Violent Extremism, you will work with a global team from Policy, Enforcement, Product, Engineering, Tools, Legal and other teams to safeguard the platform's integrity, mitigate risk, and manage content trends to identify potential community guideline violations. With the latest tools and technology, you evaluate abuse trends and quality within vendor operations, and develop creative solutions to address quality, workflows and processes. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, to develop and implement effective enforcement strategies that address the evolving challenges of content moderation at scale. You will review graphic, controversial, and offensive video content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines. You may also be required to work on-call on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality enforcement of YouTube’s community guidelines. Research and stay up-to-date on key Violent Extremism trends as well as abuse patterns across policy areas.
- Oversee YouTube’s enforcement operations, including monitoring performance against operational health metrics, overseeing scaled operations with high quality, and driving efforts to optimize tooling solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders on Violent Extremism-related issues and policy escalations, and clearly communicate initiatives to the broader organization, including local teams.
- Execute strategies across YouTube in close partnership with Legal, Product Management, Engineering, and Google Trust and Safety.
