Montessori Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a friendly, experienced, and qualified Assistant Teacher/ Floater for our school. The ideal candidate would have Early Childhood Education or Early Child Development Education and experience working with young children between the ages of 6 weeks old to 6 years old. The available position is full-time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 12 ECE units as required by Title 22. (3 units in Infant/ Toddler ECE is a requirement, in progress is OK).
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Livescan fingerprint clearance.
Criminal record & TB clearance.
Pertussis, Measles, Influenza (flu), COVID-19 vaccines.
Must be genuinely loving, warm, nurturing with children.
Must be able to relate well with children/parents and all staff members.
Must be reliable, flexible, and possess self-confidence in dealing with adults and children.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Montessori experience is a plus.

SALARY: Begins at $17 per hour - Full-time and will be determined based on education and experience.
