Florida Quality Roofing is excited to announce a new job opening for a Roof Mechanic. We are seeking a dedicated individual interested in joining our skilled workforce to deliver high-quality roofing services. The selected candidate will be involved in various projects, focusing primarily on roof repairs and installations. This position is a Full-Time role and is based onsite; it is not a remote job opportunity.

As a Roof Mechanic at Florida Quality Roofing, you will be part of a team known for its exceptional workmanship and commitment to customer satisfaction. The role requires a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively under varying weather conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform roof repairs on various roof systems, ensuring each task is completed to the highest standard.
Complete roof installations with precision, focusing on detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct necessary material runs as needed to ensure the availability of required supplies.
Meet with and coordinate projects with building inspectors; remain on-site for inspections as required.
Assist with general tasks at the job site that are essential for the completion of projects and smooth workflow.
Adhere to all company safety standards and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Effectively operate and maintain company vehicles, upholding high standards of responsibility and care.

Requirements

Prior experience and solid knowledge of various roofing systems, with a strong ability to conduct both repairs and new installations.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to responsibly use company vehicles.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions.
Reliable and punctual, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual abilities in Spanish are preferred, though not required, to facilitate communication with a diverse team.
Strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to quality and safety.
