Maintenance Technician

About the Role

This role is responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant operations, supporting equipment reliability and minimizing downtime in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

Program, troubleshoot, and operate PLCs, DCS, and interlocking systems
Perform electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs including motors, VFDs, breakers, and wiring
Maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems
Service pumps including centrifugal, positive displacement, and diaphragm pumps
Perform welding and basic pipe fitting as needed
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
Utilize SAP CMMS to document maintenance activities
Support operators with troubleshooting to reduce downtime
Follow all safety policies and electrical codes

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED or technical school required
Minimum 5 years of skilled industrial maintenance experience or comparable technical training
Strong electrical troubleshooting experience including VFDs, motors, contactors, and control systems
Knowledge of process piping, steam systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and pumps
Welding experience preferred
Experience in food or bottling manufacturing preferred
Ability to read and interpret simple to complex schematics and blueprints
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Basic math skills and computer proficiency
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
