Job Title: Dental Assistant

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality dental care, ensure patient comfort, and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, including handing instruments and suctioning
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certificate preferred
- Current certification in CPR/BLS
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Familiarity with dental software and digital charting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in chairside assisting for general dentistry
- Comfortable with digital radiography and sterilization protocols
- Excellent patient care and education skills
