After School Childcare Staff - Fonda-Fultonville

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for our After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt LOCATION: Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School in Fonda, NY POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Childcare Program Staff PAY: $16.00 per hour HOURS: 2:30 - 5:30 pm The After-School Program team is responsible for: Leading hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, which includes fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and other group activities, as well as offering homework support. Creating a safe, healthy, clean, and enjoyable environment while serving as a positive role model for children in the program. Arriving ready to work at scheduled times and staying until the last child has been picked up. Communicating daily with parents and family members via the Playground App. Following state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school guidelines. Some positions may also include administrative responsibilities such as maintaining attendance, registration, and staffing records. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age or older and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferably have at least one year of experience working with children under age 13. Medically cleared of communicable diseases, including TB. Warm, friendly, and energetic; excellent interpersonal skills, professional, reliable, and punctual. Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry up to 50 lbs., and keep up with active children.
