Overview
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing and supply activities at our Lemont, IL location. This role focuses on sourcing materials, maintaining inventory levels, and working closely with suppliers to support daily operations.
Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities
• Source quality materials and services at competitive pricing
• Maintain raw material and packaging inventory levels
• Build and manage vendor and supplier relationships
• Review supplier performance and resolve issues as needed
• Use ERP systems to track purchasing and inventory
Requirements:
• 3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft D365 or similar preferred)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
