Legal Administrative Assistant
Legal Administrative Assistant. A minimum of 10-15 years of experience is required.
The candidate will collaborate closely with four Partners and other support staff professionals to ensure seamless communication and meet all related work deadlines. Required skills include:
Developing and establishing protocols, procedures and work product templates efficiently managed and organized.
Assisting with drafting confidential documents.
Assisting in the preparation of bills and monthly invoices.
Managing calendars and coordinating meetings.
This candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality when interacting internally and externally and be highly adaptable, ability to thrive in fluid and fast-paced work environments.
This position requires intermediate to advanced technical skills including:
MS Word, including troubleshooting styles, mass mailing merge for emails and letters, tables of contents (styles as well as field codes), table of authorities, cross-references and bookmarks use and editing, essential keyboard shortcuts, footnotes and endnotes manipulation and editing.
MS Excel, including page layout manipulation especially for printing, formatting numbers, text, and cell size as well as wrap text, use of dropdown lists and keyboard shortcuts.
MS PowerPoint, including, embedding, and managing multimedia, insertion and formatting charts, customization of themes and templates, use of and editing of hyperlinks, use end editing of notes to slides.
DocuSign, navigate the ins-outs of this application extensively.
Meeting Apps: Zoom, Google Meets and Teams and their integration with Outlook for scheduling calls/meetings; and
PCs and Mac basic keyboard shortcuts for better use of the above programs.
Must have law firm experience, particularly Corporate Law.
