#Hiring: Corrugated Packaging Designer Location: Baltimore, MD Salary: $55,000 $65,000/yr Schedule: Full-time On-site About the Role Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Corrugated Packaging Designer to create and refine structural packaging solutions aligned with customer needs, manufacturing capabilities, and industry standards. This role partners closely with sales, production, and tooling teams to deliver accurate designs, samples, and specifications. Key Responsibilities Design corrugated packaging including RSC, FOL, die cuts, displays, and inserts Create 2D structural drawings using ArtiosCAD or equivalent Develop samples for customer approval Optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability Coordinate artwork with tooling vendors and graphic teams Prepare manufacturing specifications for production Support production troubleshooting and tooling validation Manage tooling inventory, repairs, and cost estimates Qualifications & Requirements Associate degree or equivalent experience 3+ years corrugated packaging or manufacturing experience Proficiency in ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, or similar CAD tools Strong understanding of corrugated materials, flutes, and board grades Ability to read and create technical drawings Strong attention to detail and math/spatial reasoning skills Preferred Qualifications Digital cutting table experience (Kongsberg) Knowledge of flexographic printing Familiarity with TOPS or packaging standards Adobe Illustrator experience a plus
