Hiring: Electrical Engineer III Location: Pittsburgh, PA Pay Rate: $48+/hr Schedule: Full-time On-site Central Texas Recruiting is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to support complex power infrastructure projects within the energy sector. This role combines hands-on electrical design expertise with project leadership, safety compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize power distribution systems Develop electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and system layouts Perform load calculations and arc flash mitigation analysis Support automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage initiatives Ensure compliance with NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, and regulatory standards Collaborate across engineering, operations, and project teams Participate in commissioning, testing, and startup activities Support procurement and vendor coordination Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) 10+ years of relevant engineering experience Power distribution and high-voltage equipment experience Arc flash study review and implementation experience PE license preferred PLC and project management experience preferred
