PROJECT OVERVIEW What the Living With PCOS Initiative Actually Is
Living With PCOS by Dr. Sahitya is more than a book. It is a comprehensive health empowerment ecosystem designed to help individuals, families, and communities understand Polycystic Ovary Syndrome not as an isolated medical condition, but as a deeply personal and often misunderstood lived experience.

The initiative includes:
• A Narrative Health Framework blending medical clarity, storytelling, and emotional support
• A Mental & Emotional Wellness Model addressing stigma, anxiety, body image, and identity
• A Curriculum for Teens, Parents & Educators supporting difficult conversations and shared understanding
• A Global Public Health Resource expanding culturally responsive PCOS education across diverse communities

WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS The Significance
1. PCOS is one of the most common but misunderstood conditions in women’s health.
2. Millions struggle without guidance this initiative fills a national and global gap.
3. Youth need accessible, age-appropriate health language and resources.
4. Dr. Sahitya’s work provides culturally responsive health communication not found in traditional systems.
5. A holistic health model is emerging nationally this project aligns with behavioral health and wellness integration efforts.
6. There is no scalable, purpose-driven PCOS education framework until now.

THE LARGER SIGNIFICANCE What This Work Symbolizes
