Respiratory Care Practitioner

Job Description : Department: Respiratory Care Services Schedule: FTEs available (0.9 Night, 0.6 Variable, 0.01 Variable) Job Summary: Work under the supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services. Set up and operate respiratory care equipment as requested by physicians. Follow established departmental policies for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases and illnesses. Participate in in-service education and quality assurance programs. Demonstrate professional behavior that reflects the hospital's mission, values, and standards of conduct. Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (AMA accredited) or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (AMA accredited). Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License (upon hire). BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire). ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (within 90 days of hire).
