Machinist - Advanced Cnc 5 Axis Milling And Programming

This is a full-time on-site role for an Advanced CNC 5 Axis Milling and Programming Machinist. The Machinist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to operating CNC machines, setting up and programming 5-Axis Mills, and ensuring precision machining in accordance with industry standards. Duties and Responsibilities Advanced CNC Programming, 5-axis Milling, and Precision Machining skills Set-up and operate CNC machines Assist in coordination of work schedule for 5 Axis machines Required Training & Experience Knowledge of industry standards and quality control processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Familiar with various aerospace standards and practices Experience with Siemens and Fanuc Controls Practical use of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GDT Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Attention to detail and accuracy · Experience with CAD/CAM software (Gibbs CAM & SolidWorks preferred) · Candidates must own their own tools Visual Acuity Near acuity and accommodation is required for reading blueprints, Inspection equipment and visual inspection of parts.
