Hiring: Research & Development Specialist Finishing Processes Location: Quakertown, PA Salary: $70,000 - $80,000/yr Schedule: Full-time Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Research & Development Specialist to lead finishing process development and support manufacturing operations in a precision environment. This role plays a critical part in optimizing finishing techniques, supporting customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement across production and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and refine finishing processes including blasting, deburring, and surface finishing Conduct testing and experiments to evaluate process performance and efficiency Analyze data and document results to support process improvements Operate and manage finishing room equipment and processes Troubleshoot technical issues related to finishing systems and materials Support sales and engineering teams with technical expertise and customer solutions Maintain accurate process documentation and quality records Qualifications & Requirements 5+ years of experience in finishing processes or manufacturing environments Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial equipment Experience running or managing a finishing room or department Ability to work directly with customers and internal teams Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Leadership or team management experience preferred U.S. work authorization required
