VOICE UP MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY PURPOSE PATHWAY INTERNSHIP
Exploring Purpose at the Intersection of Digital Innovation, Storytelling, and Social Impact
Voice Up's early-stage model has already engaged students and emerging professionals from more than 80 universities and learning environments worldwide, contributing nearly 3,000 hours of logged purpose-driven work.
Media and Technology is the dynamic field of creating, distributing, and leveraging digital content and platforms to inform, connect, and empower communities. The Voice Up Media & Technology Purpose Pathway Internship invites undergraduate and graduate students to explore the foundational question: How can purpose-driven creators and technologists use media and digital tools to amplify voices, bridge divides, and drive positive social change? Rather than focusing only on algorithms or metrics, students here connect authentic storytelling, ethical technology design, digital literacy, and community engagement to the transformative work of media production and technology innovation. This internship is designed to help students explore their emerging professional identity within a field that shapes everything from digital journalism to content creation, social media strategy, tech ethics, user experience design, digital advocacy, and the intersection of media with democracy, education, and social justice.
