Senior Manufacturing Engineer (2312447)

Coordinate all phases of project industrialization for high-voltage wire harness production from the request for quotation (RFQ) stage and new project implementation to full production ramp-up, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for high-voltage harness assembly, including new technology implementations such as Electromagnetic Pulse Technology (EMPT). Coordinate the design and layout of production lines to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve workflow. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain) to drive process standardization and efficiency. Oversee the implementation of SAP systems for process tracking and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., IATF 16949). Participate in new product introduction and manufacturing readiness activities. Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing focused on process cost optimization and cycle time reduction, resulting in increased operational efficiency and productivity. Requires up to 15% domestic/foreign travel.
Experience qualifications: Knowledge of SAP ERP manufacturing modules (CA, CS, MM), Teamcenter software (for project management), process optimization (cost reduction and cycle time improvement), lean manufacturing methodologies, IATF 16949 requirements, and implementation. Experience with production optimization for low voltage and high voltage (LV/HV) wire harness manufacturing, HV harness assembly, and related technologies, and production line layout design and optimization.
Educational requirements: a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent based on combination of education and/or work experience) in electrical engineering, engineering technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
