RN: Occupational Health Nurse

Job #26-18 Position: RN Occupational Health Nurse Location: Quincy, MA Status: Full Time; Temp to Perm, Monday to Friday Clinic Type: Hospital Salary: $50 $54 per hour Duties: Conduct pre-employment health screenings, including physical exams, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine fitness for duty. Administer immunizations and vaccination clinics in accordance with CDC guidelines and organizational policies. Triage workplace injuries and illnesses, provide first aid, and manage worker’s compensation claims. Develop and support wellness initiatives focused on injury prevention, chronic disease management, and health promotion. Maintain accurate medical documentation in EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA. Perform ergonomic assessments and recommend strategies to reduce workplace injury risks. Educate employees on occupational safety, workers’ compensation, infection control, and healthy lifestyle practices. Partner with EHS to maintain compliance with OSHA and reduce injuries. Requirements: Active RN license in MA Certified Occupational Health Nurse preferred. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers’ compensation, infection control, and HIPAA compliance. Clinical experience in urgent care, hospital medicine, or emergency settings preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate diverse employee populations. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong computer skills.
