Senior Software Engineer, Google Kubernetes Engine
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with Linux networking stack.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with technologies such as DNS, IPv6, eBPF, load balancing, or network security.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement new networking features in the Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) area.
- Help external GKE customers who hit issues in production clusters.
- Engage with the open source community to help shape the direction of networking in Kubernetes.
- Design and develop AI/ML Enablement high-performance networking solutions specifically optimized for large-scale model training, low-latency GPU communication and autonomous agentic workloads.
- Design and develop network virtualization solutions for containers.
