LEASING COORDINATOR/COMMUNITY COORDINATOR

FUNCTION: Oversee and participate in all leasing, marketing, customer service and administrative responsibilities.

 

 

 

REPORTS TO:  General Manager

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

 

 

 

Marketing/Sales/Leasing/Customer Service

 

·        Handle sales and outreach, prospecting and lead generation, with a focus on converting leads into sales.

 

·        Help prepare and implement marketing plans, complete marketing surveys, analyze rental trends and track advertising effectiveness.

 

·        Assist general manager with preparation of leasing/marketing reports.

 

·        Help oversee and participate in marketing outreach to include interacting with neighborhood groups and community organizations.

 

·        Oversee and maintain all new lease and lease renewal practices to include the resident selection and approval process. 

 

·        Greet prospective residents and show apartments.

 

·        Oversee and participate in resident activities.

 

·        Help evaluate curb appeal and general appearance of the community.

 

  • Partners with General Manager and service team to ensure community appearance meets company standards and demonstrates curb appeal.
  • Monitors trends to prepare for future occupancy needs.
  • Understands and complies with federal, state and local fair housing laws as well as landlord tenant laws.
  • Effectively embodies the Novus Residences brand at all times.
  • Represents Novus in a professional manner at all times.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and attitude when dealing with both current and prospective residents, coworkers, vendors and the public.

 

 

 

Administrative/Operations

 

·        Oversee and process applications and lease renewals.

 

·        Enter guest cards and traffic information.

 

·        Assist new residents during the move-in process.

 

·        Work with maintenance department to handle apartment turnovers, move-ins and work order requests.

 

·        Handle administrative functions to include clerical and reception responsibilities.

 

·        Maintain effective internal controls over operational activities in compliance with best practice policies and guidelines.

 

·        Assist in bookkeeping responsibilities, including but not limited to posting rent payments, collection efforts for current and past residents and adjustments to ledgers.

 

·        Assist residents with any community concerns.

 

·        Organize resident activities and assist with resident complaints.

 

 

 

Sales Leadership

 

·        Assist with leadership responsibilities to include mentoring, training, development and as necessary supervision of the leasing team.

 

 

 

PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

 

·        Must be able to work any shift Sunday – Saturday.

 

·        Minimum of 3 years previous experience in leasing, sales and customer service (preferably at a luxury class A community, lease up or in a high end retail/sales position).

 

·        High school diploma or equivalent certification required.

 

·        Ability to prospect, sell and close.

 

·        Strong Marketing skills.

 

·        Ability to develop a team.

 

·        Excellent Organizational skills.

 

·        Excellent Written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, Yardi, Rent Café and Email.
