Maintenance Technician / Handyman / Electrician/ Plumber

Available Position: Handyman / Maintenance Technician familiar with all aspects of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, Painting, construction, etc. We are an apartment maintenance company servicing apartment buildings and commercial properties throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Greater Los Angeles County. There is daily travel involved and must be able to work with little supervision.

Location: SAN GABRIEL VALLEY / GREATER LOS ANGELES COUNTY

Compensation: $ 30,000 to $ 60,000 salary + commission annually- upon performance

Job Description:

The position requires knowledge in general apartment maintenance; trouble shooting & repair of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, basic repairs, small general construction projects, HVAC (not required but a plus), painting, and other types of miscellaneous work as determined by management as appropriate. The ability to maintain written documentation, data sheets, purchase requests, and follow a daily schedule of calls. The ability to communicate with tenants, clients and staff. Schedule work day with daily phone calls to tenants and job sites. The ability to drive to all locations is required, as well as respond to emergency situations. Must possess valid California driver's license, have s reliable truck for transportation, have proof of and maintain insurance and a clean driving record. Must be willing to travel to various work locations throughout the greater Los Angeles County area.

All applicants will undergo a drug test and criminal background check (Live Scan). This position is Salary plus commission and is a great environment for a knowledgeable self starter in the field of general maintenance. Requirements for this position include a minimum of three years of apartment maintenance experience, a current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance. Other requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a polite and professional approach and excellent customer service skills. Own tools and the ability to be "on call". We are also seeking candidates who demonstrate strong organizational skills and flexibility. Position will require on-call alternating weekend and holiday work
