Customer Service Representative

The customer service representative will provide prompt, professional and courteous customer service to our agents and insureds  ensuring that there is a constant focus on customer experience.

We have openings for both English speaking and Bilingual-Spanish speaking Customer Service Representatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter data and process changes to include new business applications, endorsements and cancellations
  • Respond to agent and insured inquiries regarding policy status and billings.
  • Maintain working knowledge of policy processing systems including the Image Right system and its workflow.
  • Work reports generated by the processing systems.
  • Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
  • Meet pre-set productivity and quality goals
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Prior Insurance experience a plus.
  • Customer service experience.
  • 40 hours/week.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and Internet is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to use good judgment and to be flexible/spontaneous
  • Ability to work additional hours to meet deadlines and/or complete projects
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

 

Hours and Days:   Adjust work time and shifts to meet customer service needs for all operating states. (possible start time 8:30am or 9 AM). Monday - Friday 8 hour work day with 1 hour lunch.  We also offer a flex schedule that includes Tuesday - Saturday hours.
