JOB DUTIES:
Manage the inside sales department – coaching, training and development.
Ability to analyze data and provide information to management and other business units.
Research and compile information on competitor programs and collaborates with Home Office on product and pricing recommendations.
Contributes to companywide initiatives relative to marketing, business plan items and other miscellaneous projects.
Must be able to work effectively with all business units.
Assist the Sales Manager in developing incentives for our producers and monitoring results.
Develop bonus programs for our Territory Sales Managers and track results.
Monitor our Motor Club program and complete monthly commissions.
25% travel in & out of state. (AZ, CA, CO)
· Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
BA degree in business/marketing or equivalent training/education/experience
5 – 7 years of automobile insurance experience, nonstandard auto preferable
This is not a remote position, the expectation would be to work at our home office when not travelling.
Ability to analyze complex data and extract pertinent information.
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
Intermediate level demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to train and provide light tech support of our Internet based technologies to independent agencies.
Willing and able to travel (including overnight travel) for extended periods of time as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
Bi-Lingual Spanish would be a plus.
