The Financial Analysis/Staff Accountant will enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results. Financial Analysis / Staff Accountant, Success Factors

You will be the direct individual responsible (DIR) for the accounting operations of the company. You enjoy being able to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely financial and operational information to our leadership team that will be important in strategic decision making and operations as we continue to grow.

You will help the company with growth goals. Prepare the strategic financial forecasts out 3 to 5 years along with resource optimization to achieve the forecasted plan that are aligned with the company goals. You will be responsible to create a financial break-out within the first year, by service line and by location, so we can make better decisions.

You will maintain financial records; create financial and operational management reports. You will issue timely and complete financial statements. Recommend benchmarks to measure the performance of the company operations. Provide financial analyses and insight to support the business, and develop and maintain a high level of expertise using analysis tools and techniques. You can translate and communicate analysis and data into actionable information for the leadership team. You enjoy exception reporting, as you will create automated exception reports from operational/financial information. This will allows us to see errors, fix systemic causes and ultimately reduce staffing resources needed. By fixing these problems it is allowing us to grow properly and scale with appropriate staffing levels.

You will analyze current pricing. You will analyze our current termite pricing model and provide data and insight to management for potential changes.

You are comfortable manipulating date.

Comfortable with Excel
Working with Pivot Tables within Excel and other functions

You will manage accounts payable and record transaction and general journal entries in QuickBooks. You will ensure that payables are accurately paid in a timely manner and also ensuring A/R is collected promptly. Ensure that bank reconciliations are completed. You will also, maintain an orderly accounting filing system.

Fast Forward Three Years

By being the DIR for the accounting operations for Blue Sky Pest Control, you will know how operations of the company work, which will help you to help the leadership team in strategic decision and helping an already successful company to the next level. You will be an essential member of this team in helping us reach our company goals. You will have created automated exception reporting, completed the financial break-out by sub-categories, and you have analyzed current pricing models while also completing other valuable day to day responsibilities and other projects.

Salary $55,000 - $65,000
