This position will work Sunday thru Thursday 3:30 PM to Midnight Full Time - 5 x 8 shift

Due Diligence Specialist within Risk Operations: This role executes Due Diligence policies/programs as it relates to our high risk business categories. Due Diligence Specialist work with customers in high risk business segments and reviews policies and procedures as they relate to regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk on behalf of PayPal. This role requires the analysis of regulatory issues, including reviewing customer processes, identifying deficiencies, and assisting with correcting such deficiencies.

Our Due Diligence Specialist uses their independent judgment in interpreting the need for intensive and more detailed examination of facts surrounding potential violations of the law. CORE DUTIES:
-Work assigned queues, emails, and service requests as well as other Compliance related items on a daily basis
-Process queue items in a timely manner as measured against communicated departmental targets
-Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with PayPal personnel and customers always
-Provide feedback to management regarding necessary changes and updates including policies, upgrades, and potential workflow changes
-Process queue items such as CDD, EDD, KYC, AML, Terrorism Financing, and OFAC.

Skills & Responsibilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Required 2+ years of experience dealing with financial transactions in an industry that is classified as high risk for money laundering and/or terrorist finance
-Preferred 1+ years of experience in a due diligence department within a financial institution

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or educational equivalent
