KASW-CW6 is seeking an experienced and motivated media sales professional to join our team in the position of Experienced Account Executive.
KASW is amongst the top non-news entertainment stations in the Phoenix market. CW6 provides fresh, vibrant and contemporary syndicated programming, and as an affiliate of the CW Network, offers network programming of the highest quality.
Prospect, make local direct & agency sales calls for the purpose of generating television & digital revenue for the station. Candidate is required to develop presentations, prepare avails and packages as required by account, and write up and submit all orders for approval. Salesperson must have the ability to respond to advertisers’ needs and be able to adapt to different selling situations. Sales personnel will develop a thorough knowledge of the station’s policies, procedures, programming, rates, production and operations. Knowledge of competitive programming and rates are necessary. Periodic entertainment is also required.
KASW-CW6 offers a great work environment which is focused on creating success for our clients.
Two (2) years of television, radio, cable or related sales experience required. College degree with strong language, math and organizational skills is strongly desired. Applicant should have experience in agency business, prospecting and in developing new business as well as non-traditional revenue for the station. Must possess a proven track record of accomplishments and have the ability to develop effective sales presentations. Knowledge of the Phoenix television market a plus. Candidate must be motivated to perform with a high degree of creativity. Computer literate in television scheduling software, with knowledge of television avails and traffic software, Scarborough, Nielsen ratings and CMR preferred. A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation is required.
